Indian Stock Market Today: Indian benchmark indices ended largely unchanged in a volatile session on February 11, as gains in auto, pharma and PSU bank stocks were offset by weakness in IT shares.

The market opened on a positive note despite mixed global cues, with the Nifty reclaiming the 26,000 mark within the first hour. However, the index moved in a narrow range for the remainder of the session, as investors stayed cautious ahead of the US jobs report.

Broader markets tracked the benchmarks, with the Nifty Midcap and Smallcap indices closing flat. Sectorally, Auto, Pharma and Consumer Durables advanced between 0.5% and 1.3%, while the IT index declined 1.8%.

NIFTY: The index opened 62.30 points higher at 25,997.45, reached a high of 26,009.40 and closed at 25,953.85. On the daily chart, Nifty formed a small-bodied bearish candle with a lower shadow, indicating buying interest at lower levels. Immediate resistance is placed at 26,020, while immediate support stands at 25,860.

BANK NIFTY: The index opened 43.85 points higher at 60,670.25, reached a high of 60,779.95 and closed at 60,745.35. Bank Nifty formed a small bullish candle with a lower shadow. Immediate resistance is placed at 60,900, with support around 60,500.
